Samsung LE37M87BDX no pic

Hi Guys
Got this Samsung LE37M87BDX with no pic. The back light flashes up for a second then off. All caps in psu are ok.

Anyone had this? I'm thinking inverter. Thoughts anyone?

Yes, it does look like the inverter, I'd bet on a transformer going wrong

It could be one of the ccfl tubes, if one is slow starting or drawing too much current the inverter will shut down.

The customer has decided against having a repair so that's that.

The ccfl problem sounds likely as does the inverter, but for now it's over.
