afternoon fella's, just been out 2 look at a bush lcd model number s642f no picture fault, i tested voltages all ok, did notice when moving lvds cables would show osd but no picture if  then you leave to cool down the picture would appear would you say main av board or tcon, and also when i moved lvds cables the tv would switch  off  and back on again and so it could be faulty lvds cables let what you think chaps. thanks for your time

sorry to say sounds awfy like screen ribbons coming adrift you tend to find if the picture comes and goes with time/temp its down to the tft matrix loosing the signal from the tape package ( ribbons )

t1412:
thanks jim, i'll look into that

hi jim, just had to pop back round that fella's house,  tv now cycling on and off going to pick it up tomorrow bring it back to the work station any thoughts on this fault. i'm thinking main board fault now, thanks for your time

regards
shaun

not familiar with that particular model but cycling was a sure sign of a failing invertor going into protect mode on the earlier bush or of course fluctuating output voltages from the psu down to the usual, duff caps
