hi chaps, got this samsung in it's a ps-42b451b2wxxu/bn44-00273b power supply,  red standby light flashing. 5 volt standby erratic voltages, i have taken  all transistors out of circuit and tested ok, transformer tm801s  is ticking that's were i am at the minute. any help would be great. thanks for your time

Try disconnecting Y-Sys and see if power comes up, sounds like a heavy load on Power Supply.

hi, i've  done this already and i do get the 5 volts.stable  but there's but no high voltage at the 2 large filter caps just a faint ticking coming from the transformer i'll study the service manual thanks for the interest
