afternoon chaps, just had this tv come in it's technika  m40/57g-gb-ftcu-uk,  with no picture and sound when  aerial connected, just blue screen, do get sound when scart lead connected all voltages are present on power board, but there is a strange thing don't laugh but theres no tcon board the lvds cable  plugs the thin panel at the top but they do sell a tcon board for this tv thanks for your time

Hi Shaun

Some sets don't have a separate T-con PCB, part of the circuit will be on the SSB and part on the PCB attached to the screen.

T-con is listed as a spare so it must be there somewhere, unless someone has removed it previously!

Wasn't there an Orion/sharp that the ribbons plugged into the signal board which incorporated the tcon ?
