Hi guys .Have sony tv got sound but no picture and tv wont turn off with remote and channels wont change . Wont turn of doing it manually on tv but dont now ifchild lock may be on Any ideas   thanks

 Hi, really you have to upgrade the software but first of all you should manage to get into the service menu trying again and again the usual way.

Howd you get into service mode with no picture or remote functions?

hi marky ,that was my thought exactly but I cant see the menu . A bit like the chicken and the egg
