samsung le40r87bd Black and white (not simple)

hi i have a samsung tv as title
and it is displaying all inputs in black and white with different cables and devices plugged in

though the menu displays colour and when component is plugged in it just displays the green image

the capacitors are ok
have tried factory reset

samsung tech support are as usefull as a chocolate teapot

anyone have any ideas

have tried googling this problem and it just seems to come up with people plugging wii's and dvd players in wrong

you said you done a factory reset, did you do this through the service mode, by pressing, info menu mute power while the tv is in standby thanks

Hi Shaun yes i tried this & i dint work..
black & white issue now solved... but can any one tell me the correct settings/values in the service menu as i adjusted 1 or 2 or several & now i have colour back but dont know what i changed to do this....
can any one help?
