Had this set in today..on switch on,red standby light flashing 4 times continuously.I've checked all caps and all seem to be ok....have anyone had this fault before please...

hi mate id replace all the 1000uf caps just to be safe as they dont always have to buldge to go leaky, they are worth replacing first as replacements cost pennies.

check the power board if it has a resistor labeled RM801 it can sometimes go short. also check the red surface mount fuse if it has one as well as surrounding diodes..

def sounds like either caps or a component on the power board has a short.

def change the caps first and jump the eeprom to try and get into service menu to reset to be sure  :thumbup:
