Technosonic LCD5015.... understand is also similar to a Wharfedale model.

TV comes up momentarily then screen goes blank, there is no error code, the power LED stays blue.

I'm wondering if it's the inverter, was thinking of changing the 22pF CFL coupling caps. Is there any known problem with these INVO402 inverters?

Hi Dave,

Have inverter for that set kicking about - Mine's an IVS15201 from a screen smash.

Wonder if you've checked the tubes with a tester - a duff one will cause inverter to shut down in seconds -

Testers are real cheap on Fleabay - Good luck - Chris.

Hi, thanks for the possible offer Chris.

It was the ccfl's, I happened to have another one come in, as a quickie I swapped the inverters over.

I should have known though, there was a clue, one side of the screen seemed brighter than the other, you know the score as soon as they ignite off they go not giving time to register the difference.

Thanks for the reply, regards.
