Hi,
CHS have an  Eeprom  listed for this model,
S24Cs08afj, but it doesn't look like the one you can link out to reset.
(I think it's IC7004)

hi, thanks watteau, yes ic is ic7004 on top of board, have put order through chs should arrive quickly considering the price of postage! many thanks and i'll be back once eeprom fitted. andre
