 :sign0144:Hey guys

I was given the above TV for my daughter as a present and it has the stuck in standby fault that i've read about within these forums. I decided the easy option would be to replace the entire PSU which I have done but to no avail. With the new PSU fitted it has exactly the same symptoms.

This gives me problems as

1, I promised my daughter i'd fix her TV as Daddy fixes everything, and
2, The Mrs is gonna kick off as I've effectively wasted £20 on a new PSU.

Now I'm no stranger to a soldering iron and can happily use a multimeter so can someone offer some advice that may help me bring this TV back to life.

Thanks all

Dave

hi it might be best to test the voltages on the connectors for 5v whiches there, now look for  12v  24v

Hi,
If changing the Power-Supply hasn't made a difference, it's
probably the main PCB at fault.
Most common problem is corrupted software.
Sometimes stabiliser IC's can give trouble.
Your best bet is to look on EBAY for a replacement PCB
(check that the numbers on your panel's labels match
with any replacement found, especially the Display make/type).
