Hi can any one help. I have had given to me a Hitachi C32WF523N tv which keeps randomly switching its self back to standby . I have found this is happening more when there is bright picture on screen tipical of "dancing on ice on a sunday night" it switched off about 15 times in the dancing on ice program but not at all during the hour long program following it (same channal) then as soon as the dancing on ice results program started it was swithing its self off again. I have found that by reducing the brightness to a point where its little to dark it does not switch off. Also usually goes off about 30 seconds after first power up then by using remote to switch on it back on it can sometimes remain on all day without problem. The set has been to a couple of repair shops but they have been unable to fix it as it never fails when they have it.
Any help most appreciated.
