5V supply has 'self destructed' during a power cut, leaving some smd components in a sorry state along with the chopper FET, leaving a trail of black soot... looks pretty new otherwise.
EDIT:
The 5V chopper primary that feeds the drain of the FET reads 1.5 Ohms.... this seems low to me. I don't wanna be buying a kit and then 'poof'.
Anyone know a repair kit for this.... or if a circuit available? Thanks, Dave
