Baird TE-40LED-AL = Dead
« on: January 24, 2014,21:25:54 »
Hello
I have a Baird TE-40LED-AL and it is dead the power supply board number is BSFP4120-001A  (picture attached)
Has anyone had this fault and did the power supply cure the tv, or is it the main board
I have no voltages apart from a standby 5v from the board but the main power will not be turned on and no lights
thanks in advance
Regards
Tony

Check Q4 (2SK3568) and elements near this-check drive elements of this Q4,check regulator 3,3V (U5) on main board

You can use an older mlt199tl supply the black one, its pin for pin and works fine. I had one in about a year ago and was having trouble sourcing parts so I fitted one of those and its still running.
