polaroid tlu-03711c got backlights, no picture or menu

Hi I have a Polaroid tlu-03711c got backlights, no picture or menu! Basicaly, I aquired this lcd with a dodgy capxcon cap or whatever they are. I replaced it. The set ran fine for several months then after a power outtage, I now get just backlights, nothing else. No sound, menu or power light. Can you shed any light on this fault please?

Hi Mike,

Note you've changed a single cap.

C112 and C113(1000/10) are the usual problem on this set.

As you have backlight, suspect main board EEprom problems.

But curious, as you have no power LED, but set still switches on - Chris.
