Buzzing sound on external source.

Hello.   I have an Akura APL3268 with a background buzz when used via the scart connection.  Freeview via aerial  is fine. It just seems as if the audio setting in scart mode needs changing, but how.  Any help would be appreciated.  Henry.

How loud is the buzzing? Try a better quality scart lead. Does it buzz with different external devices.

Kieth.    The buzzing is quite loud but the audio can be heard OK above it.  Both scart i/p gives the same problem but HDMI does not give any signal at all.  The problem reminds me of the sound IF off frequency that used to happen with TVs from Europe with the different carriers.  Thank you for replying.  Henry.

try disconnecting pins 1&2 at tv end of scart plug
