Hi,
most probably bad lcd panel, try taking apart the front of panel with all boards still on back of tv, turn it on and try touch and press a little bit on all cofs (chip on flexible)  one by one on side and top  till found the one that causes this lines then use something special like thermal sponge used on top of cpus and chips to put in between it and frame of panel..good luck
don't stop learning...

Hi Ere,

Nifty solution, sometimes works where pressure can be applied on those flexie chips.

Note that in many cases there is no possibility as chips are mounted where pressure cannot be applied.

Chris.

Hi Sinclairtv,

Sort'a witty, but do you actually try mend tellies ?

Note that in several cases pressing chip to the flexie does the biz.

Obviously not all the time, but enough success to warrant bother mentioning.

Stay cool - Chris.

Yes m8 been fixing tellies for about 40 yrs now..I got 2 LGs in my house that I did the screen contacts on. Wouldn't sell them on but they've been working for 18 mth and 14 mth respectively.

Only made the crack cos the op had talked about 'pus' twice instead of 'psu'.

Hi sincliartv,

Guess your'e right, and as you've been fixing to 40 years - Guess you fix, and have fixed many. Was thrown as 'pus' generally has 2 x S's so couldn't initially follow humour with just the one.

Must try get out a bit after 50 years at the bench - All the best - Chris.

Think you'll find that as a medical term,  'pus' is the correct spelling so the humour is grammatically correct.  :93:

Hi Sinclairtv,

Tried a repost - Jake Thakray - 'The Bull' - But was naturally denied posting as an MP3 'shematic' on quuq.

Was making no observation at all, but had to smile when finding it on YouTube.

Worth a visit for folks who don't go so much for heroes on high - Chris.

PS - keep up the humour, guess folks who don't smile - fight (personally an atheist/humanist and nearly a veggie, but still love meat, as veggie bacon is total crap)

try to download the datasheet for this tv and then look for the diode number that jordan proposed to you, have repaired many that have same pb with replacing either the mcu of t-con board or replace it totaly.. good luck.
