Hi Peter,

Recall a while ago, some other chap had the same inversion problem, but never a mention of the sound, so we suggested re-fitting the stand, much as you do.

Never heard back - Guess sorted - Chris.

Hi,
The original sound problem you had, Toshiba have  sent out
a USB stick with update software to customers that 
complained of this fault, might be worth a try.
