Digihome DIGILED19DVDHDC TV/DVD

Hello Group,
This set works except for the dvd functions with the remote.
DVD functions on the side of the tv work ok.
I have bought a new remote, but still the same fault.
The tv functions work ok with the remote.
Any ideas.

Hi Y/P,

Have noticed that lots of replacement RCUs don't do the whole biz. Would suggest Wiltsgrove as they check fairly thoroughly - Seems many Fleabay suppliers don't check at all.

Caught out once or twice - Note Wiltsgrove supply RCUs on Ebay, but best to go to the horses mouth for a good backup, where you can talk to a knowing tech if problems exist - Chris.

Yes is is an original from Wiltsgrove and I did select DVD.
The remote supplied by the customer looks and works the same as the replacement.
Very strange.

Hi,
Here are a couple of bulletins that might help.
In the past I've swapped the 8 pin memory IC from
a scrap DVD to remedy this problem.
If if you have a Vestel handset that will activate the DVD 'Display'
option, you might be able to reset the handset type.
