Hi I have got this TV in which turn on fine,back light on but no OSD at all. I checked t-con board and changed surface fuse there but as soon as turn on the TV , 2 inductor and a transistor began to blown up. the 12 v is 12.18v. any idea?

G'day Sam,

On what board did said inductors/transistor fail, T Con? Measure ohms from T Con side of fuse to ground. Could also be a short in the panel. If these parts can be replaced, remove the flexies from T Con to panel before you turn it on again.

Thanks for ur reply fail components are in main board. If panel has got short , could be repair it or not?

In that case, chances are the short is on the t con. Measure it for shorts at the fuse....T Con side if it's open. You'll likely need another T Con and Main board. is it gonna be worth it.         Bruce

Hi there is not any short circuit on t-con board but still as soon as connect t-con to main board same components fail.
