Toshiba 22DL702B - Vestel - DVD monochrome

Have one in where DVB is OK but DVD plays in monochrome. Main board 17MB62-2.6

 do the  DVD remote control keys  work with this fault

Hi Chris,

I'd say this has to be a fault of the M-Peg board mounted on the DVD loader. Perhaps someone has previously replaced the loader with the incorrect type. Check MENU with the TV in DVD function. May be there's an option that needs to be changed. Just an idea.

Hadn't thought to check RCU as works on DVB - Does nothing on DVD however so guess corruption somewhere.

You could try to do a factory reset, before ordering any part
press
Menu 4725
there should be a reset option in the service mode
