Samsung LE32R88BDX comes on after 1hour

Hi guys ,the TV comes on after about an hour . Have changed the 5 caps on top right hand side but still the same .  Dont know if its the power supply or main board any ideas . Power supply is a bn44-00155a. Thanks

Power  Dong Yang   BN44-00155A
1.   Check P/S caps  Typical cap repair kit – CM851/CM852(both 1000/35) CM856(1000/25) CM861(1000/10) upgraded to 25v  CB852(2200/10) upgrade to 25v (see piccy)
Possibility that duff caps can brick the main board.
  
2.   Just red led – check RM801(R22) for O/C as glue on C810(2n2) flashes over – (see piccy)

Other PS problems – RB806(100k/2W)  DZP801(BZX84C18)
DZT855(BZX84C6V2)RB801(100k/2W) ZDB805(15v smd Zener)

Important – scrape off the glue – as it becomes conductive and phuts most everything on the power board.

Hi Kenny,

Good advise from the guru.

Suggest try a factory reset when the unit eventually comes on. It's in the Service menu. Not guaranteed, but one has to try these things, especially if those caps have corrupted the eeprom.               Bruce

Ken says it comes on after half an hour, so guess no corruption yet, but wait a bit and it surely will - Chris.

Hi Guys ,its a bit like the chicken and the egg now .It doesnt come on at all now so suspect its been corrupted . Customer used to leave it to come on . Dont want to get a power supply and be left with the main board faulty although maybe reset would work
