Vestel firm ware please save to usb stick 17MB60 to cure Flashing Front LED fault which is now getting very common

Could all members do this when they see one of these sets

This is how to

Plug empty USB Stick in to usb port (must be empty else will try coping file from stick into tv !!)

Switch on set Access hidden Menu by

Pressing MENU button then 7935

select
Copy NVRAM data



You should get 2 to 7 bin files maybe more


Please put these into zip file with a text file holding info
Info need
Make of set
Model number
Board number for instance 17mb60-1 or 17mb61 or 17mb70
Screen type and part number
Product Code on the back Label for instance 37654321

If you get a working set saving this will help otheres with Flashing Front LED fault

To save a set to your tv copy correct file to usb stick plug into tv select hidden menu

Remember Data is unique per Model

Hi Vince,

Thought to try with 17MB62-2.6. Menu and 7935 worked but couldn't find an option to copy NVRAM data to USB stick.

OSG note pops up asking if want to use USB - Tried No first, then Yes on another try, but couldn't get any further - Chris.
