JVC RX-6042S - 5 Channel Receiver - Goes Off.

Hi Folks,

Have one of these in where the sound cuts on any input. Sometimes it comes back several times for a few seconds then goes off permanently. Thought maybe regulators with dries, but bashed them all to no effect.

Turn it off then on again - Fine for a few minutes. Odd thing is that I don't hear the two relays clicking out and back again.

Bit of an odd one - Any thoughts ? - Thanks Chris.

Replace Q-1404 and Q-1434 (KTC-2026) use BD-243C

Guess those transistors are regulators - Will give it a go and confirm probable success.
