Hi if you get stuck and live in the eastmidlands I believe they do trade repairs

Can confirm Sparky's comment about EMOS.
They repaired  down to component level a Samsung Tcon board for a pal of mine with the dreaded pale whitewash picture syndrome, replaced the chip and had the Tcon back to him in no time for a very reasonable fee.
