HANNS G with 5V power down after few seconds
« on: May 05, 2015,03:13:50 »
Hello. I Have a HannsG 28 inch monitor, with black screen afer few seconds ( backlight down). The backlight come down even faster after second and further attempts. I suspect something is overheating. By inspecting the voltages on inverter I'v found that 5V come down. By disconecting the cable from inverter same thing happens. I've inspected the power supply PHIHONG PSM217-404-H-R and found one excesive overheated SMD type Q601. By marking this should be Power MOSFET, but markings on it are puzzling. They are DF BG ( see atached photos).
Does anybody knows what this element is, its specs?
Does someone has a shematic for this power board? (also for LCD Monitor Viewsonic VX2835WM)
Should I consider something else?

 Hello Slovenia,

Have uploaded SMD Code Book which may help, as well as Viewsonic service manual.

Go to "Downloads" at the top of the forum page, scroll down the right hand column and find "Latest Downloads". You'll see what you want there.
