I have a problem with no 12v and 24v on this tv / supply
led on , when pressing remote it blinks as if working
have done the following :
checked the voltage on main filter cap tv in stby  318v    when remote pressed there is no increase in this voltage

tested u601 is getting vcc - yes it is 15.1v

u601 has 1606B marked on it

tested d601 , d602 for shorts

checked all caps out of circuit with esr meter all ok

have checked for shorted diodes on 24v and 12v outputs

5v supply is working and return from main board swithes the vcc rail to u601 on 15.1v , polacing set in standy removes this voltage

is u601 at fault are there any other checks around this chip only have multimeter

any help / suggestions would be appreciated


just resoldered a few connections on the board and there is now a intermittent faint buzz coming from the board
