sony kdl32v4000

Hi All Have a Sony KDL32V4000 The green light comes on for few secs then goes out and the red light starts flashing four times in sequence Power supply looks ok have tryed disconnecting inverter board but still the same Any suggestions much appreciated

Hi Al,

Code 4 is an inverter error in this model, so check voltages, fuses, transformers, etc on the inverter. I'd suspect that disconnecting the inverter proves nought because its absence would be interpreted to an error code.

I'll upload the service manual to quuq in case you don't have it.

Hi guys just to let you know got tv going was faulty inverter traffo as you said Got replacment and all is working ,many thanks for the help  :c017:
