Expensive main board or you could try cooking the main board you have. There has been widespread success with this method, especially with LGs.......I'm dying to try it myself. Preheat the household oven to 180 degrees an pop in the main board on a metal tray for 10 minutes. Then take it out and let it cool down.
I wouldn't call it a solder reflow.....not hot enough to melt solder, especially lead free stuff, but maybe it removes solder whiskers or silver migration.
Whatever, it seems to work and stay that way. But be prepared for a tongue lashing from SWMBO......it does smell up the kitchen for a short time.
