Hi all,
I'm sure I encountered this problem some time back.
This Panasonic TX-L37U3B won't always switch on, the stb light flashes as normal but doesn't turn green.
Every time I attempt to work on it, it works fine.
Ring any bells?

Hi Geoff,
Maybe needs a software upgrade similar to this model. Bruce

Thanks Bruce, I'll check that.
The only upgrade I could find for this particular model so far, is from 2011 and improves media play (via SD card slot I'm guessing).
Cheers for this.

Forgot to add - try a reset. Press and hold V arrow on the panel then press menu. The self-check menu will appear, then power off at the mains. It will then require a first-time installation. Bruce

Good suggestion Bruce,
I did set it back to shipping condition and that seemed to help for a few days, but I will try your method and see how it likes that.
I didn't mention before, but when I first got to this Tv it wouldn't power up at all, just flickering red led, so, I performed the power on at mains while holding the power button on remcon. That got it back to life and then I set it to shipping and re-tuned etc.
I'll give your method a go. :c017: Geoff

Ok, having reset to shipping condition plus self check procedure this set remains intermittently temperamental at switch on. However it is tolerable.
Curiously I get a call today for another identical model and identical fault.
This is probably the 6th Panasonic I've been called to in the last month. I don't often see them for repair and I suspect there may be a universal software problem.
Anyone?

Problem with MB-probably upgrade software

Thanks Jordan,
I agree, it does seem like software, but I can't find anything for this model. The latest I can find is from 2011 and relates to media playback.
Cheers
