Hi, I am new to this forum so firstly a big hello to everybody.
I have a Panasonic TX-P50X50B 50" Plasma with a faulty power board. Usual fault :- starts off not powering up immediately of being disconnected from mains to eventually dead permanently. Checked the power board and find no STBY5V!
Does anybody know if the power board from a TX-P50X60B 50" plasma is compatible with my TV. Physically the fixings and connectors appear identical. My concern is whether the electrical interfaces are the same.
The reason for my question is because power boards for the TX-P50X60B are available for £20 working whereas working boards the same as the one I have removed are £70! Also, I am hoping switching to a different board should permanently solve the problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you look on the shopjmmy site thay usually tell you the alternitive boards you can use.
what is the power supply board number used at the minute?

This fault is always u203 on the reverse of the board. The sets were manufactured with a faulty batch of chips, think they are around £5 on auction sites.

I did one yesterday for a customer.
