Post by: ernie on December 09, 2006,20:44:16
hi mulja i scrapped the sanyo i was working on before as i changed the ic and also the 270mfk and it blew the ic and several other componants.anway i needed a tube for this older sanyo(eb6a28 chassis)i put the tube in this other sanyo and set the a1,focus and grey scaling now i have perfect grey scaling and couler but the picture is a bit dull been in the settings and tried altering the rfct etc but cannot get it any sharper.do you know of anything that can cause that or could it be the tube as due to the previous tv not working i dont know how good the tube actualy is.any advice appreciated   ernie. i forgot to say that there is plenty of contrast on the menu box when i put the menu on

You have one of this faults:
The flyback circuit bad,
An overload circuit
Defctive picture tube socket or inproper focus voltage.
Check focus control.
A leaky spark gap assembly.
Or  the crt is bad. god luck.
