Hi folks,
Have one in where the front display lit all segments, but doesn't turn on with either RCU or set top controls. Power supply seems OK with voltages where expected.
Thought 'main board' so warmed it a bit where the display went out, not to return even when cold.
Though it's maybe three years old, it looks as if never been used. Nothing useful on Ebay - Chris.

Try disconnecting the control panel switches and see if it comes on with remote have had trouble with some of these model and faulty switch panels

Hi Chris, perhaps you've bricked it. I've mentioned the adhesive used on the panel controls. Look for the thinnest flexi on the back of the control panel and unplug it. There is no need to dismantle the panel, it's accessible from the top. You'll then need a remote to operate it.
Could also try a reset in desperation. With the unit in standby? press and hold the STOP button on the remote for 10+ seconds.
bon chance - Bruce

Hi Bruce, suspect bricked, though only used a hair dryer to warm the SSB as display used to shine every section.
Suspect 'every section' display indicates confusion, would with me - Pity as it's modern and nifty.
Natch' pressed most everything, as a bench falure could mean 'baked beans' for tea again.
Admit beans nifty, saw 'em on a film where they lifted chaps, a bit.
