Hi folks,
Have one in where it tries tune DAB and FM but finds nothing. Slot in a CD where OSG shows that it's playing, but no sound on max volume. Checked 9v 2a PS, also tried 6 x C cells - Same.
Wonder if it's a known problem ? - Thanks - Chris.

Hi
I have got 2 of these with the same problem and one more working cd +fm only
We liked the look of these so thought 2 would be nice.
What I have found so far on the non working ones is the dab board needs to be ok
At least on fm I think
Now try this:-
load a cd in.
Check that it appears to be reading it then switch off, on button
Make up a lead from the line out socket L R and GRD
Connect a small capacitor say 1-150mf (can be electrolytic) across one channel and the ground wire, polarity does not matter(very low output)
Turn set on with button and check if cd plays (just a quick way to see if system is working)
If no change switch off with button and reverse the capacitor on the same channel
Try set again.
Repeat if unsuccesful
Both my faulty ones switch on doing this but only with good dab board one has a good board so I interchanged
This is not a fix but a clue next time switch on it needs to be repeated
WHERE TO GO NEXT ???
I have got the citcuit diagrams

Thanks john1,
Will give it a try, because as you say it would be a good bit of gear (When working)
Not yet managed to download the service manual as the link doesn't function - Tried from Quuq and on line from the same site, but couldn't I get a download - Thanks again - Chris.

Hi Chris,
I have uploaded to the website a copy of the service manual.

A full reset will sort out many DAB radio problems.
Press and hold STOP, ENTER and POWER at the same
time for a few seconds.
“RESET” appears in the display and the unit will revert
to the factory preset.
Always my first option with DAB.
