Hi folks,
Had one given to me (Circa 1970) and apart from congealed grease that needed sorting, machine worked really well, and even on 1 & 7/8ths produced decent recordings, 7.5 IPS was superb, as couldn't tell it from the CD used.
Belts and idlers were still OK - Doubt cassette players last as long.
Chap had smashed the VU meters so sorting a bar-graph display with a couple of LM3916 chips and 10 segment displays.
Checked about and found schematic - Chris.
PS - Found original PDF wouldn't load at 3.5MB so printed and scanned at 750KB.
