Title: Help with my first Plasma TV repair on Panasonic TX-P42UT30B TV
Post by: cheeky2 on June 03, 2015,11:40:43
Repaired quite a few LCD TVs however been given a Plasma to look at.
When powered on the TV has only a green led showing on the unit!
There is no other indicators ie flashing red leds on standby etc.
The 5V standby is ok i have the service Manual however any help would be great!
I have searched on the net without any success in finding a solution :(

 Thanks in advance :)

only seen one
dead caused by TNPA5457 (TXNSNINHUA) FETS short on SN PCB .

note
panel can be damaged by poor earthing check both panels SN and SS both for loose fixing screws.
Also  flexi edge connectors are a pain to align .

A short on the SN board will cause the red LED to flash code 7. All the Panasonics I've come across that have had a solid green LED but the TV showing no reaction, have been caused by the A board. Virtually unrepairable and really expensive.

definitely SN, even with green LED locked out, and no SOS7.
fixed a few of these, good TVs when they work
