Title: Samsung UE40D5520

Hi all,This tv will turn on showing smart tv logo and then goes off again turn on ,showing logo and off.I checked power supply output and all are OK,I will appreciate any help.

-Check CP8145 (82mF/450V) in PSU
-Upgrade firmware

Hi Sam,

Disconnect the Main from the PSU. If the backlights come on and stay on, the main board is kaput.              Bruce

Hi. Main board faulty, you cannot upgrade the firmware as the set will not stay on long enough. New board required and they are not cheap. Regards Geoff
