Title: panasonic TX-P50UT30B DEAD

Hi,i have a panasonic tx-50ut30b with PSC10351H M PKG1 N0AE6KK00009 pcb, completly dead no standby light theres no 5v showing on standby pin, alll the caps and fuses look and read fine.any ideas thanks in advance.

Hi tiz,
Unable to find a schematic for this PSU or a service manual. In any case, there's generally no PSU schematic in the manual.

Looking at your picky, the STB-5V is generated by IC Z401 on the left of standby transformer T401. One pin of Z401 should by at 380V wrt the negative pin of the bridge rectifier or the large filter capacitors. If it is missing, trace the circuit from the IC pin, through T401 primary to its source. It may even have its own dedicated bridge rectifier. You've checked fuse F401 by the looks of it. Standby control ICs can simply cease operation or can go "splat". There is a rectifier diode on T401 secondary. Check that it's not shorted. See how you go with that.

Power supply is not serviceable thats why we dont find any schematic,
but i found a service manual,
On page 40 there is a block diagram, perhaps you can find something there.

hi, guys just an update on the repair, i  couldnt get  solve problem so ended up just replacing the board. thanks for the advice tho and sorry for late reply not been well for a few weeks.
