Title: Sony KDL-32S3000 solarisation!
Post by: cheeky2 on June 17, 2016,07:41:02
I have this Sony set which I presume the fault is on the TCON board.
What component do I need to replace on it to resolve the issue with the tcon board?
TCon board is a
T315XW02 VE CB T260XW02 VK CB

Thanks Anthony :)

Hi Tony,

If it's got a an AS15 ic on the T-Con, that'll be your problem.

Thanks Bruce I haven't cracked it open yet and looked at a TCON board from an online picture source and couldn't see any recognisable as15 ics so thought it best to ask in case it was something else!

You may be right, Tony. It was only a suggestion. Believe AS34 is now the go in some TVs.           Bruce

I thought it was a LC4064V-75TN-10I 48-PIN TQFP ic but when checking the details of the IC i was wrong so have just had another look and indeed its a AS34G. Now to order it up :)
I have another same model TV which I have swopped over the tcon so its certainly the board :)
 Happy Days :)

Hi Tony,
Just spotted your piccies further back and yes, I'm sure it's the AS34G. Had a look for gamma test points (VGAM) on your T-Con piccie but couldn't see any.....usually a good way to verify if the IC is kaput. I've not yet changed an AS34 but the time will no doubt come.
