Title: Vistron 32 with top loading DVD.
Post by: Turnip on October 30, 2016,10:04:39
Hi folks,

Have one of these sets that doesn't admit to a model number, but uses SSB HH-LCD PCB.DK 9E19.1 and a RCU labelled RC-1.

It's new to my area and only analogue seems to give a screen to retune, on DVB it seems to be missing, or I'm not pressing the right buttons. Naturally can't get a user guide or even a genuine RCU where the printing hasn't worn off. Could get a pattern but with no info how to get into the DVB tuning menu - Any thoughts ? - Thanks - Chris.

I don't know the Vistron, a new un to me.

One telly had me flummoxed, I had to switch to DTV in the mode setting, another I had to go to reset up retune screen to see if DTV is listed darn thing was only analogue LCD. never occurred to me they used a box.

Thanks Davy,

Remember trying retune an old Philips where it didn't admit to having DVB 'till the Analogue/DVB button was pressed.

Philips always did stuff their way, and by that time was used to Japanese logic - Which seemed - sort'a logical.

This set arrived much the same time as the Chinese 'Pangoo' hit the world, also shy of model numbers, and vanished together with it's three year guarantee within a year - Guess 2008 was one of those years for crap - Chris.
