Title: Panasonic TX32LZD85 - No HDMI
Post by: Turnip on December 14, 2016,12:41:31
Hi folks,

Got one in where DVB and Scart inputs OK, but nothing using HDMI sockets.

Note there's an SSB with the Scart sockets, plus an AV board with the HDMI sockets.

Wonder if it's a known issue as Ebay SSB are cheap but the AV board isn't - Chris.

I bet it's a games console being plugged in & out, that's what I generally find. Some of the guy's have got programmers so they can reprogram them.Other wise it's a board replacement, due to the fact, they stick the i.c. right close to the sockets.

Hi Bonesy and thanks,

Set came in with DVB untuned, so guess it's a Sky customer. Had a look, seems you're maybe referring to Eeprom IC4700 M24C02WMN6TP on the AV board being corrupted. Thought visit the Panasonic download site - Waste of time as they feature only current models using a SD card.

Noticed however that China does converters - Scart to HDMI also HDMI to Scart for about £9.50, bit late for this Christmas though - Chris.

Hi Chris,
Is that the correct model number, or should it be TX=LZD850?        Bruce

Hi Bruce,
LCD sets here all seem to have screen size after the TX bit - Chris.

Hi Chris,
Have uploaded TX-37LZD850 service manual. See if it bears any resemblance to your mongrel.               Bruce

Hi Bruce and thanks,

Have manual for the actual beast, hence the AV board IC4700 Eeprom where I possibly need a bin if that's the problem - Can't tell without it.

Guess cust with short pockets will wait for a China HDMI to Scart converter as third of the price for an AV board - Chris.
