Hey Shaun,
You've got to be joking. CRT analogue technology. These monsters should be euthanised . I can't believe that one of these still survives.Manual can be downloaded free at eserviceinfo but it's in 12 parts and you must download all parts to be able to open it.
Can find no info re error codes. Look for coolant leaks onto the PCBs. Bruce

I had very little to do with rear projection sets,I could never understand why anyone would by an MFI wardrobe with a tv built in it that had a picture that looked ten years old,Sony sets I thought were very poor,Pioneer probably the best.Nasty things to work on,no thought for the engineer at all.Glad they are mostly dead & buried.

i must have the magic touch, went round just turned it on, took a minute to come, your right bonesy the picture wasn't brilliant could have been a sticking switch, i forgot say, i've got a rear projection in my sons room still works samsung thanks fella's

Coolant, from the tubes, used to leak onto the PCB, causing corrosion and a million different intermittent faults.
