Title: LG wallpaper tv
Post by: bonesy on May 06, 2017,08:33:42
Just been looking at the future, wallpaper tv,rep, you screw a magnetic backing plate to the wall, unroll your O,LED screen, around 1mm thick & it attaches magnetically to the backing plate. What I couldn't see in any pictures was how you connect to your devices.I presume that they must have a media type box which your aerial, sky, virgin box connect to then may be blue toothed wireless to screen?I don't know,no sign of any connectors on screen.I know Panasonic had a top end plasma a few years back, that blue toothed to screen, may be one of you guy's know?May be we'll have to practice our wallpapering skills, lol.Oh LG 55" around £7500ish.Plus paste & brushes, lol.PS there is a single small thin ribbon cable from media/sound bar unit to screen!Just been reading up on them.

Hi Bonsey.

Have you had a peep here? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h1MgIWLG1U (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0h1MgIWLG1U)

To connect to the screen there's a ribbon cable, no doubt this will be done away with with new technology. https://www.digitaltrends.com/tv-reviews/lg-signature-oled65w7p-w7-series-oled-tv-review/ (https://www.digitaltrends.com/tv-reviews/lg-signature-oled65w7p-w7-series-oled-tv-review/)

Hope the pixels are as good as the LED backlights.

That shouldn't pose no problems - Right?  Try talking to a fridge and see what the in-laws says about you. http://www.wired.co.uk/article/samsung-family-hub-2-smart-fridge (http://www.wired.co.uk/article/samsung-family-hub-2-smart-fridge), I can hear them now.
