Hello . I have just made lines appear on my tv by wiping it clean too hard  :oops:.red purple and two blue thin lines.
Can this be repaired ?it is a 40" sony and i cannot afford to buy a new one. would this be covered by household insurance?
help please

sounds like you have damaged the screen, cost of new screen would be as much as new tv, should be covered by household insurance if you have accidental damage cover.
