Title: toshiba 27wlt56b screen wrong size, remote dont work

hi, i have a toshiba lcd 27wlt56b in for repair fault is tv not responding to remote and the screen size is wrong
i have reload good nvm date but still the same. the main board is a vestel 17mb11-6, i suspect the micro but i cant change it as its a BGA chip. any one had this problem before?

Which chip number is that??? i have no menu OSD and no remote functions  The menu keys DO work but i have to guess where the <> \/ /\ are.... not a lot of fun!!!!  I have a spare mainboard in which the menu OSD DOES work - but no picture sync.... etc.... PLEASE REPLY SOMEONE!!!!!

hi, cant remember chip number but its the 8pin plug in one with one wire soldered on to it.
