Title: lg mod.RZ-20LA70
Post by: michael first on July 21, 2008,05:27:02
Hi,everybody
I have this LCD TV from LG with the power supply that doesn't work properly;I've found on the secondary a blown fuse and a shorted diode plus the filtering capacitor exploded,so I think the feedback doesn't work. Now if somebody has the electrical diagram I'd like to see it!
Thanks in advance.

on reading post again though it must be the opto, unless original cap is short, and that took the diode

Hi Tony,
Thanks again for the answer, life's quite ok,the TV in question seems to be a variant of the basic chassis as it's got only one  opto not two and the multiple regulator on secondary side is missing;changed the opto the diode goes shorted again and the capacitor gets hot;so the voltage is too high!Any idea please!
Maybe some resistor on the feedback loop, but without the right diagram it's hard to go on!
 Regards.
