42" MZ-42PZ44 Plasma Screen lg plasma .
it origanally had 2 black vertical lines on picture.
picture below

managed to repair the black lines there was a dry joint on 10Ω register (4) in front of COF IC the black bars have now now gone but instead theres now faint white lines on picture, there was tiny resistors next to the 10Ω registers ( 4 ) which i did not touch so not sure if one of the smaller ones ( 4 of them ) would cause this white line problem?
or if its screen burn or image retention?
heres 2 pictures of the set now with the white bars.

image burn from first fault should not of watched it for so long faulty

also on further investigation i noticed on the ysus board one of the big samwha elec 250wv 680uf capacitors is buldging.
cap has not been replaced yet,
just curious these big caps on on the ysus, if any of them are leaky or buldging would it cause the faint white vertial lines shown on pictures above im getting? as dident think faulty high voltage caps would cause 2 white vertial lines in same place the origanal fault was.
any help would be very appretiated.
thanks

No YSUS wouldn't cause this. I'm with adm2007, burn in from previous fault. Should of been repaired straight away.
You can try leaving it on white wash for a day and see if it improves.

yes someone told me to turn the contrast and brighness to full and leave it on white wash for at least 6 hours but im just a bit worried leaving it on allday, as after a couple of hours the heat comming off back of set it is really hot.
and also the buldging cap, i guessing this is from from being on for along time im guessing this is due to the heat :bomb:
