Title: picture distorted philips 42pf9946/12

i have a philips 42pf9946/12 plasma tv.
after watching the tv for aprox 1 hour the picture becomes unstable until the screen appears scrambled (similar to when you used to watch an encoded sky channel on the old analog with no card)then it switches off. if you switch back on again all is fine for 10 mins then same again.
any thoughts?

try find problem with cold air or hot air.

hi again,sorry, try this : Symptom
Blue or non-synchronised picture, but TXT, DVI, and EXT1 are okay. 

Cure
Check, and replace if necessary, on the SSB the following items:

- C2008 (code 3198 017 44740, 470nF/+80%-20%/10V/Y5V/0603, e.g. Murata GRM188-series).

REMARKS:
Input PH1FL (pin 17 of Hercules input) is not well driven because of
defective capacitor on position 2008.
