Title: JVC 42DX6BJ

JVC 42DX6BJ switches on ok then after a couple of minutes switches off, no sound also,it has a good picture when on, there seems to be a short to earth somewhere on the main power board, all the caps seem ok, would it be the power mosfets ? or am i on the wrong track, would be greatfull for any help. :biggrin2:

I tried to upload the jvc 42dx6bj service manual but it comes up as wrong file type, i tried it in winrar and same thing, its 50mb.

All working good just resoldered a few dry joints on mainboard, the no sound problem was a mashed up headphone socket, i removed it linked up the two connections, when i switched back on the headphone sign was gone but still no sound, checked in the menu and sound was switched to centre, changed to tv and it worked.
