hi there, i have the above model for repair , fault is
switch set on , reverts back to standby with the red led flashing 7 times (which after looking on the net means a y sustain board fault)
im a bit hesitant to replace this board as i find no s/c ot burnt components.and this board is expensive to keep as a spare incase it isnt this.....
the voltages coming from the power supply seem ok. just wandering if anyone has any experience with this model of set or any ideas what to look for.....
cheers chris

Hi,
I'm have repair few set this model before but the model we repair is pdp-436pg( asia model )
The problem you mention we have repair before & we just is replacement the board only.
The part number we using is AWV2256, don't know the part number for other country is simular or not.
Inside service manual is mention just repalcement with part only, no replacement part is supply.
How much the cost is selling in you country? Can you tell me....
Thank you

Have a pdp435 which has the standby light flashing red and green on power up. Any clues to what the issue might be before i strip it ?
Thanks

hi,
The problem you mention is it panel red led on & the green led flash?
If correct the problem mostly is the main assy no backup the data haven't do the
the transfer after replacement the digital assy. Have you change the digital assy before?
