Post by: maff99 on September 10, 2008,11:38:16
Hi Guy's anybody out there had any experience with Pan l.c.d.I have got one which powers up all p.s.u. rails appear as marked on the various plugs & sockects .It developes the 24 volts for the back light primary system & also briefly the back lights come on.But set returns to stand by.Ithink most likely cause is the inverter p.c.b.but this p.c.b. is not a spare part but part of the screen silly old pan!If anybody know's any other possable causes Iwould be grateful.
many thanks Maff.

Hi,
Does the Led blink? If it does, then you need to count the blinks brcause the set is in protection mode and the number of blinks indicates the area of the set the fault is in.
